How Can We Help?
FluentKey Live is blocked at my school
Having trouble getting FluentKey Live to work on your network? Read on.
Background
FluentKey Live leverages SSL and websockets for real-time communication between devices and our servers. If traffic on your network is restricted via proxy server or firewall, you’ll need to contact your IT administrator to request that they update your network’s configuration.
Firewalls
FluentKey Live requires access to the domain live.fluentkey.com over port 443. Ensure that this domain and port combination are whitelisted on your firewall.
Proxy Servers
To ensure a secure websocket connection can be established, add a bypass to your proxy configuration for the URL below:
wss://live.fluentkey.com/socket.io
Additional Troubleshooting Tips
- To ensure a seamless FluentKey Live experience, please make sure javascript and cookies are enabled.
- Some browsers use excessive caching for HTML5 files. Make sure you’re using the latest version of FluentKey Live by clearing your browser’s cache.
